Patrick Regout

A mix of Belgian "ligne claire" and British humor.

 

Belgian freelance illustrator since 1984, Patrick studied "Visual Communication" at the Saint-Luc Institute in Tournai (Belgium).

Everybody has a past : Pat started out his career as a singer and tap-dancer in a crazy band called "Frenzy".

Following a regular contributor to Esquire (UK) he was led to draw illustrations for many publications including The Guardian, Management Today, L' Entreprise, La Recherche, Xbox World, British Airways, People Management, The Cigar Report or Reader' s Digest.

His first series of children books called “The Adventures of Zach and Zoey” was released in 2019 in the USA (Mad Dash Kids).

 Since 2002 Patrick is also exhibition curator at the "Maison de l'Image" in Brussels (Seed Factory).
